I miss those days when,
We would talk for hours on end,
I miss those memorable chats,
When you were my best friend.

I miss your childish banter,
I miss your innocent face,
I miss those lovely days,
When I held you in my embrace.

I miss spending every moment,
Surrounded by your laugh,
I miss seeing you pose,
For every silly photograph,

I miss those happy times when
A joke caused a laughter riot,
But more than anything else,
I miss you my darling idiot.

The Nonsense Verse

Last night I had a dream,

About a mouth watering ice-cream,

Smeared with chocolate syrup,

Served to me in a large cup.

There also was a blueberry cake,

Tastier than anything you'll ever bake,

Also there was this delicious pudding,

Which only increased my craving.

I was about to take a bite,

Of this culinary delight,

Just then there was a beep,

And I was raised from my sleep.
